Hi, my name is Matt Boshcka and I have been the Co-owner of Dublin Square since we opened in April 2011.
We started the business because there was a need for an Irish pub in
La Crosse County. Especially with the large Irish heritage and culture alive and well in the La Crosse area. We also wanted to be one of the first restaurants in downtown La Crosse with an outdoor patio.
An opportunity presented itself when the corner of 3rd and Main became available. Seemed like the perfect spot for a patio in the heart of downtown.

"I love Downtown La Crosse because every day is different and there is so much to do." - Matt Boshcka, Co-owner of Dublin Square Irish Pub & Eatery
When I am not downtown, I enjoy golfing, traveling, skiing, hiking in the bluffs, volunteering through the Rotary Club of La Crosse, and hanging out in my home theater and bar with my friends.
I love Downtown La Crosse because every day is different and there is so much to do. I have seen it be nearly dead in the late 80's/early 90's to becoming the booming, thriving, robust, and dynamic epicenter of music, culture, nightlife, museums, much improved parks (and parking), and shopping that you see today. Thanks in most part to Downtown Mainstreet Inc. :)
My favorite Downtown La Crosse memory was opening Dublin Square on
April 1, 2011. Some of my favorite events are St. Patrick's Day, Irishfest, and Oktoberfest weekends.
